Dorms come with four, six or eight beds, so you can put a group together in one room or spread it over a few rooms on the same floor. There are women’s dorms with six and with eight beds. For anyone who wants a room of their own, there are twin rooms with separate beds, deluxe doubles, a quadruple room, family rooms, and private dorms for six or eight, useful when a smaller part of the group wants to stay together without booking singles.

Our bar and restaurant, The Dude, named after The Big Lebowski, seats up to 270 people at once, so a group of fifty or two hundred can eat together. It is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00.
Breakfast is a buffet, and for groups the rate is already included in the room price. In the evening there is usually something on, like karaoke, game night with board and card games, beer pong, cinema, bracelet making, quizzes and events around national holidays. We are in Diemen, on the edge of Amsterdam. Diemen Zuid station is a few minutes’ walk from the door. From there metro 53 runs to Amsterdam Centraal in 12 minutes, about 28 minutes door to door once you count the walk and the wait. The Sprinter from the same station reaches Schiphol in 11 minutes, or 26 door to door. Dam Square is roughly 33 minutes door to door on public transport. If the evening runs long, night bus N87 covers the way back. By car it is 10.6 kilometres to Amsterdam Centraal and 22.4 to Schiphol. Directions and the full address are on the contact page.

Write to groups@viaamsterdam.com with your dates, your numbers and any room preferences, or ask at reception, who will pass it on to group bookings. Ask for the group brochure as well. A bed in an eight person dorm starts from 28 euro per night, and private rooms cost more. Your quote includes the group breakfast rate.
