Looking for a hostel in Amsterdam? VIA Amsterdam has dorms and private rooms, a friendly crowd and a reception that is open 24 hours a day. You stay on the eastern edge of the city in Diemen, a few minutes’ walk from Diemen Zuid station. From there metro 53 takes you to Amsterdam Centraal in 12 minutes, and the Sprinter gets you to Schiphol in 11.

With about 900 beds there is room for solo travellers, friends and groups. Choose a bed in a dorm with four, six or eight beds, a bed in a female dorm, or a private room for two to eight people. good to know before you arrive
Check in opens at 15:00 and check out is at 10:00. Breakfast is a buffet, served from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and until 11:00 at the weekend. City tax is 3.39 euro per person per night, paid on arrival. Bring photo ID, because we check it when you arrive. More answers are on the FAQ page.
